Probably everyone knows such a thing as "papilloma". Usually, when we hear it, it presents itself as a wart or condyloma. This is seen as a widespread and non-threatening phenomenon. However, it should be noted that the virus that causes papillomas is very insidious and dangerous. There are about 100 known species of it.

Some of them lead, indeed, to common warts, and some - to the appearance of cancer. They are designated by numbers. Potentially dangerous among them are HPV types: sixteen, eighteen, thirty-one, thirty-three, thirty-five, thirty-nine, forty-five, fifty-one and fifty-two.

Among the manifestations of the papilloma virus:

  • Epidermodysplasia veruciform;
  • Genital warts (on the mucous membranes of the genitals);
  • Flat warts;
  • Dysplasia of the cervix;
  • Cervical cancer;
  • oncology of the external genital organs;
  • Vaginal cancer
  • Cancer of the anal area;
  • Head and neck cancer;
  • Lungs' cancer.

Human papillomavirus 51

One of the most unpleasant types of papillomavirus is HPV type 51 (human papillomavirus). He belongs to the group of those who carry a high risk of cancer. It occurs in both women and men.

Localization - genital area. In women, it is fraught with dysplasia, oncology of the cervix, cancer of the vagina, vulva or anus. In men, malignant formations appear in the anal canal or penis. It can manifest itself as benign neoplasms - warts and condylomas in the genital area.

After entering the body, the type 51 virus does not manifest itself. There are no symptoms. The general condition remains unchanged, no neoplasms arise, there are no special secretions.

However, after some time, due to its presence in the body, immunity decreases and the person begins to get sick. Tests detect the presence of a virus.

How is it transmitted

It is transmitted not only sexually, but also by household. Frequent partner changes, trauma during examinations or abortions, in men - homosexual relationships. All this can lead to the development of the disease. Using other people's belongings or even kissing can "bring" the virus into the body. Of course, provided that the partner is infected with HPV 51. The problem is that the asymptomatic period of the life of the virus is very long, and a person may not even suspect that he is infected for several years.

As a rule, people go to the doctor when the disease already manifests itself. In women, rough formations may occur on the cervix or in the vagina, as well as in the anus. In men, the penis and anus are affected. These warts or warts are easy to recognize, just by touch. If something arouses suspicion, you must make an appointment for an examination.

For diagnostics, a number of tests are carried out, including scrapings, examination with special devices and a simple examination. An experienced physician is visually able to identify a precancerous or cancerous condition. To diagnose the type of virus, of course, additional tests will be required.

What do patients need to know about human papillomavirus type 51?

  • First, it does not necessarily lead to the development of cancer.
  • Secondly, the most common form of its manifestation is warts. They appear and disappear without human intervention. They can occur singly, they can occur in whole "groups".
  • Thirdly, if it is diagnosed on time, it is possible to significantly reduce the risks of developing oncology.
  • Fourthly, when detecting a disease, the most important thing is to avoid the risks of its manifestations.

HPV type 51 treatment

The cure for this virus, with all the progress of modern medicine, as such, has not been found. Doctors treat its manifestations, or, more simply, remove papillomas.

They are removed surgically, with drugs, laser, low temperature or electrosurgical method.

Removal of HPV manifestations by such methods has a number of disadvantages:

  • HPV type 51 does not disappear anywhere from the body and may appear again in another place;
  • Neoplasms may occur at the site of the operation;
  • Sometimes bleeding opens at the site of removal of the papilloma;
  • You can get an infection during the operation.

It is obvious that a person is not able to cure malignant formations on his own. Therefore, when warts or warts appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor and determine the nature of these neoplasms. If they are related to oncology, appropriate treatment is necessary. If they are benign, you can fight them either with the above listed surgical methods, or wait for them to disappear on their own, or treat them with folk methods.

Traditional methods of treatment

To combat warts, people use potato juice, celandine juice, aloe and other products. Of course, there is no guarantee that these funds will help, but you can test it in practice. Very carefully you need to use such funds for women to treat warts that are "inside". The body can react in different ways to sufficiently active substances, such as celandine juice, so in order not to cause allergies or burn the mucous membrane, you should consult your doctor.

The celandine juice should be fresh. The plant is cut, the yellow juice is squeezed out of the stem and this juice is smeared (pointwise) on the place of the wart and condyloma. This is done three to four times a day, until the sore disappears. It is recommended to glue the treated papilloma. It is necessary to choose a plant that has both leaves and flowers.

Since celandine treatment is a very seasonal process, you can use those products that are available all year round.

Aloe juice, for example, is available in apartments all year round if the flower grows in a pot. It is unnecessary to squeeze it out. You just need to cut off a flower leaf and cut it lengthwise. Then attach the side of the cut to the papilloma and wrap. Leave it overnight. In the morning, the sheet is removed. This is done until the problem disappears. On average, the healing process takes up to two weeks.

For those who regularly develop papillomas, there is a recipe based on celandine and oil. Celandine must be collected fresh, during the period when it blooms. Grind it, pour it into a jar and, in equal parts, add oil. You can use sunflower or olive. After a couple of months, you can take out the tincture and smear the appearing warts with it. It is important to store the tincture in a cool and dark place.

We must not forget that self-medication leads to negative consequences. Before starting any treatment, even the most harmless one - potatoes, you need to go for an examination and make sure that the disease does not pose a mortal threat to the body. It is necessary to get advice regarding the removal of papillomas, as well as drugs that can be used to maintain the body.

This very "maintenance of the body" plays a key role in the treatment of HPV. The fact is that there is no specific drug for this type of virus, so doctors recommend those drugs that increase immunity and affect a wide range of viral infections.

Among them:

  • Amiksin;
  • Cycloferon;
  • Podophyllin;
  • Interferons, etc.

Disease prevention

To avoid new manifestations of the HPV type 51 virus or its negative consequences in the form of cancer, you need to take care of your immunity. This advice applies to both men and women.

To do this, you need to lead a healthy lifestyle, consume a lot of vitamins, give up bad habits, avoid promiscuous sexual intercourse, avoid severe hypothermia and overheating, and also try to reduce the level of stress and anxiety.

For men, there is specific advice - to avoid homosexual relationships. Human immunity is able to fight the virus when it is healthy. There are cases when HPV disappeared altogether without medical intervention. Perhaps this is with a strong personal protection of the body.
