The unspoken rule of every girl is to stay attractive and keep her youth longer. Being a young beauty for many years is not an easy task. How not to lose in youth, and in a more "serious" age not to lose the freshness of the skin?

Everything is outrageously simple: and the point here is not at all in exclusive cosmetic brands, often they are absolutely useless.

Homemade masks for the face and around the eyes are endowed with useful properties, the ingredients of which are natural and, importantly, from affordable and common products.

With their help, you will forget about premature wrinkles and keep your skin smooth, firm and even.

Protecting the skin near the eyes and making anti-aging masks should be started early. But this absolutely does not mean that you need to lubricate it all day with all sorts of fatty creams and milk or products from early aging.

Just do not forget that due to such a thin structure and a small amount of subcutaneous fat, the skin of the eyelids quickly becomes dry, flakes and quickly loses its elasticity.

Features of skin care around the eyes

Be very careful with the choice of cosmetics for care. Until the age of 25, or even better before the age of 30 (if your health is not in an unenviable state), it is better to refuse anti-aging drugs.

Try to choose light, healthy and moisturizing creams and mousses. Special natural cosmetic oils, which can be found in any pharmacies, are perfect for this. The choice there is very large, so carefully read the description, purpose and choose the most suitable one for yourself.

It is also worth paying attention to the composition of the jars and bubbles, so, for example, after a product that contains lanolin, the eyelids may turn red and swell a little. It will be better if the cream contains vitamin A or E.

From natural cosmetics, you can also prepare masks for the skin around the eyes and all sorts of different means for moisturizing the skin, which will protect against bags and bruises, from fatigue, morning edema, swelling of the eyelids, and eliminate fine wrinkles.

How to properly apply a mask for the skin around the eyes

When using a mask, you must follow the general rules:

  • masks, and especially those that, when hardened, are taken with a crust, are not advised to keep for more than half an hour;
  • they need to be applied to a previously thoroughly cleansed face, smearing with light strokes, without rubbing;
  • you need to apply the mixture during the day, but not from early morning or late at night;
  • it is worth smearing them in the direction of the massage lines: from the lips to the ears, in the direction from the chin to the ears;
  • when using solutions, the muscles should be in a completely relaxed state, it is better to sit down or lie down;
  • after the ritual, remove the mask in any way convenient for you and rinse it with lukewarm clean water;
  • after removing the product, you should not use blush, powder, foundation (with the exception of moisturizing products) for an hour and a half.

For women who have some problems: excessive growth of facial hair, vasodilation, it is categorically contraindicated to use such eye masks at home!

Mask recipes

  1. Based on parsley. Stir in a couple of teaspoons of sour cream with half a teaspoon of parsley, finely chopped into porridge. Apply the entire mixture to the desired areas, cover the top with warm, damp and wrung out cotton napkins. After 15-30 minutes, rinse well with warm boiled water.
  2. Based on potatoes. Boil the potatoes "in their skins", wait until they cool slightly. When the potatoes become just a little warm, cut them into thin rings and put them over your eyes for half an hour. You can also mix potatoes with a quarter glass of milk and a pinch of flour. Apply the resulting solution to problem areas for 15-25 minutes.
  3. Honey based. Recipe for very dry skin: Combine 1 teaspoon of fresh liquid honey with 1 egg yolk. Apply on eyelids and leave on for 10-15 minutes. To forget about wrinkles forever, mix a couple of teaspoons of honey, oatmeal and iced black tea. You can add water there to make the mixture thick. Steam the resulting solution to soften the flakes. Apply to problem areas for 20-25 minutes. Rinse off the mask with warm water, then rinse with cool. Finally, moisturize your skin with your favorite cream.
  4. Peach. You need to thoroughly knead a ripe, but not rotten peach and add 1 tablespoon of cream, fatty sour cream or starch to the resulting porridge.
  5. Banana. Mash a ripe, hard banana into a homogeneous gruel, mix with a quarter glass of homemade milk and send to the skin for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with water or a dairy product.
  6. From oatmeal. This mask will quickly soothe inflammation and smooth out unevenness on delicate dry skin. Mix a pinch of coarse oatmeal with 4 tablespoons of full-fat milk or cream. When the flakes are well soaked, divide the mixture into 2 equal parts and wrap each with cheesecloth. Leave the prepared lotions in front of your eyes for 20-30 minutes. Lie still.
  7. Strawberry. Such a composition nourishes and smoothes the skin of the eyelids well. Mash a couple of fresh strawberries with a spatula until smooth and mix with two teaspoons of honey. Wrap the resulting mixture with gauze and send it to your eyes for half an hour. Then wipe this place with a swab dipped in warm milk.
  8. Based on sauerkraut. Put the cabbage in cheesecloth and send it to the problem areas. Lie with her quietly for 15-25 minutes in a dark, quiet room.
  9. Based on fresh cabbage. Just chop the cabbage finely, wrap with gauze and leave in front of your eyes for 15-25 minutes. Then wash yourself.
  10. Apple-milk mixture. Peel the medium apple. Cut into cubes and bring to a boil in a little homemade milk until everything turns into a homogeneous gruel. Apply the mixture to your face while warm, but not hot. The duration is usually half an hour. Then rinse your face with cool water.
  11. Bread. Soak and mash the crumb of bread in a cosmetic oil (of your choice) and apply this gruel to the desired areas. After half an hour, wash off everything with warm water and apply your daily cream;
  12. Oil. Combine 2 teaspoons of olive (peach, apricot almond, jojoba, grape) oil with a few drops of vitamins A or E. Apply the mixture with a cotton swab or cotton swab and massage gently with your fingertips. After half an hour, remove the leftovers with a paper towel. Do not wash off.

As soon as you decide to try homemade masks, the purpose of which is, first of all, care, it will not be superfluous to look at the reviews, and most importantly, do not forget that the products are designed for very delicate and thin skin.

Homemade eye masks should be used with extreme caution, because different ingredients in such masks can get into the eye and cause considerable discomfort. Take care of yourself regularly, love yourself and be beautiful!
