Fungal diseases (lesions of any part of the skin) must be treated without fail. The method of transmission of the disease is the bodily contact of a person with a person. Many people underestimate the danger of fungus. It consists in the fact that the infection releases harmful toxins that reduce the body's immune defenses.
As a result of their appearance, diseases of internal organs and their systems can develop, as well as severe chronic allergies. In patients over the age of 40, the fungus is the underlying cause of colds, acute respiratory viral infections, acute respiratory infections, bronchial asthma.
If you do not take action at an early stage of the disease, the fungus progresses at a high rate. With the blood, toxins spread to the internal organs, and provoke the development of complications. If we talk about damage to the nail plate, then in a few years the fungus can completely destroy the structure of the nail, which will lead to its loss.
The main household causes of a fungal infection:
- non-compliance with sanitation and hygiene rules;
- increased sweating in the armpits, feet;
- long-term wear of uncomfortable or low-quality shoes.
More individual (physiological) reasons include:
- disruption of the cardiovascular system;
- hormonal disruptions;
- gastrointestinal problems;
- chronic diabetes;
- improper diet;
- the presence of diseases that impair blood flow to the feet.
The main and most common cause of infection in people of different ages is a weakened immune system.
