Pharmacy ointments
Such cheap and affordable means as "Salicylic" or "Ichthyol" ointments do a good job with age spots. They can be used not only for this purpose, because they are intended to treat various dermatological problems and inflammations. The products have a good anti-inflammatory effect, disinfect the site of application, and also promote skin healing.
The composition of "Salicylic" ointment contains acid, and "Ichthyol" is made on the basis of shale resins and organic sulfur. In the pharmacy, you can buy a product with different concentrations of the active substance, but a 5-10% mixture is suitable against this problem. An auxiliary component is medical petroleum jelly, which forms the form of an ointment.
When applied, "salicylic" acid penetrates deep into the skin, thereby causing blood flow, which affects the rate of tissue renewal. Ichthyol has a similar principle of operation. Thanks to this, the spots after acne dissolve.
Ointments are applied to the affected skin 1-2 times a day. The drug is usually applied at bedtime with a bandage on top. After a week of daily use of the product, you need to start using it every other day. In this case, one must not forget to use moisturizers against the drying effect of ointments.
You should not use these drugs in case of increased dryness and sensitivity of the epidermis, because they can harm it even more. It is also undesirable to use "Salicylic" or "Ichthyol" ointment during pregnancy. "Synthomycin" ointment

In addition to them, castor oil is part of the composition, which ensures the softness of the action of the product, and has a lightening effect. It should be noted that there are no propylene or mineral oils among the components. This speaks of the safety of the ointment.
This medication is applied to acne spots in the evening and then covered with a bandage. Contraindications for the use of this ointment are pregnancy and allergies. Also, "Synthomycin" ointment is addictive, so do not use it for a long time.
Gel "Contractubex"
This ointment is used to heal scars and scars. Its regenerating effect on scar tissue helps fight acne blemishes. In addition, the drug has a softening effect and is used against inflammation.
The "Kontraktubex" ointment contains allantoin, sodium heparin, tepalin. The first component is designed to dissolve the upper stratum corneum, the second and third have an anti-inflammatory and disinfecting effect. Tsepalin also works against fibroblasts, which form a hard mark at the wound site. Thus, the natural regeneration of the skin structure is accelerated.
"Contractubex" is applied against scars two to three times a day. It is applied to the scar tissue, rubbing lightly into the skin. If the damage is long-standing, an additional bandage is applied. The application period lasts from a couple of weeks to a month. At this time, it is worth protecting the place of application from direct sunlight, cold, and other influences.
There were no side effects of the drug, except for rare allergic reactions. However, you should refrain from using this gel in case of acute sensitivity to parabens and other components. For everyone else, the remedy is safe and suitable even for pregnant women.
"Badyaga" against acne spots
"Badyaga" is a freshwater sponge, which is used as a medicine in a crushed form. The greenish powder is used in various skin and hair care products. "Badiaga" perfectly helps in the fight against spots left after acne, smoothes wrinkles on the face, rejuvenates.
This effect is achieved thanks to the components of the substance, among which are silicon, natural protein and microscopic needles. Silica cleanses the skin of dead cells, improves blood circulation, thereby accelerating cell regeneration. Protein components have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
A remedy for spots after acne on the basis of "Badiaga" can be prepared at home. To do this, you need to dilute the powder with enough water to form a viscous mixture. You can add other ingredients such as olive oil, talc, oatmeal. They will enrich the mixture with various beneficial effects. However, in the pharmacy you can find many preparations based on "Badiaga", which do not require additional preparations.
Ointment, purchased or obtained from powder, is applied to the affected areas of the face, after cleansing the skin. After 5-10 minutes, the product is washed off with plenty of water. You can repeat the procedure no more often than once every two days.
After these actions, skin redness or a burning sensation may occur, but this is a normal reaction. Any negative influences such as ultraviolet light or wind should be avoided.
In case of an allergic reaction, it is necessary to use an anti-inflammatory ointment, for example, Hydrocartizone.
Clay mask
The clay in the cleansing mask is great for fighting acne blemishes. It dries the skin, absorbing the secretions of the sebaceous glands, and cleanses it. The mask is easy to prepare at home. It is a common and affordable remedy for cosmetic problems.
The effect that a mask brings depends on what color of clay it is created from. To cleanse the face of spots left on the site of acne, a white, blue or green substance is most often used. They contain such useful substances as iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium.
The blue clay mask is mixed with water and fresh cucumber juice. Add 3 ml of lemon juice to the mixture. In the event that you have dry skin, it is advisable to add olive oil.
A white clay mask is prepared as follows: you need to dilute the powder with water.
Then mix:
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 egg yolk;
- 1 tablespoon honey.
All these components are added to the solution and mixed again.
An anti-scar mask can be prepared according to such a simple recipe: a little green clay is diluted with water until it becomes a thick slurry. Then add 3-4 drops of rosemary essential oil to the mixture. The mask is ready to use.
All clay masks require almost the same steps. The mixture is applied to the face and kept there until dry.
While the procedure lasts, it is undesirable to use the muscles on the face so as not to damage the skin. After the mask is dry, wash it off without using soap, using wet wipes or cellulose discs. The frequency of application is 1-2 times a week.
It is important to know that due to differences in skin hydration levels, the mask does not dry out evenly. Therefore, you need to moisten the areas that dry faster with water. After removing the mask, side effects such as redness, itching and flaking may occur.
