The cervical spine is its most mobile part. In addition, the channels in the neck area conduct bilateral impulses between the brain and receptors, as well as transport food and oxygen. Therefore, the presence of cervical osteochondrosis can lead to much more serious problems than just the inactivity of this part of the body. A special set of exercises for the neck, developed by Dr. Bubnovsky in order to combat osteochondrosis, will help to effectively and timely cope with violations.
Indications for the use of the technique
Of course, the first thing that signals a problem in the cervical spine is pain. It can be, both in the neck, and localized in the area of the shoulders, the back of the head, or take the form of a headache. The latter is migraines, which are often difficult to remove with medication.
With osteochondrosis of the cervical spine, nausea is often present. This is due to impaired blood flow along the "brain - trunk" pathway.
We used to think of nausea as something related to the gastrointestinal tract, but this is not always the case. But on the contrary, nausea is far from the main symptom of cervical osteochondrosis.
The cervical plexus of various channels and nerves also contains a nerve that regulates the depth of inspiration. So, if the cervical spine is damaged, there may be a symptom of lack of air. The patient may experience difficulty inhaling and the inability to fill the lungs completely.
The vestibular apparatus receives all the nutrition and oxygen from the canals of the spine, therefore, if there is a violation of transportation through these channels in osteochondrosis, noise or ringing in the ears may occur.
Also, patients with osteochondrosis of the cervical spine complain of visual impairment, in particular, patients see objects vaguely, feel a veil in front of their eyes and impaired focus on objects.
Treatment of cervical osteochondrosis according to Bubnovsky: results and effectiveness
Working on getting rid of osteochondrosis of the neck is a difficult and long process. The treatment is carried out by several highly specialized doctors. Pills, injections, massages, exercises - all this constitutes a complex of measures, from which one cannot be excluded.
Therapeutic gymnastics, which began at an early stage of the development of the disease, can prevent complications and deformation of the cervical vertebrae. Exercise helps develop a strong corset of muscle tissue adjacent to the vertebra.
Bubnovsky's technique will allow you to observe improvements soon after the start of treatment:
- thanks to the strengthened muscle corset, the load on the cervical vertebrae is reduced;
- the development of osteochondrosis slows down or stops altogether;
- exercise prevents complications;
- neck mobility is restored;
- nerve clamps or other obstacles to the normal transport of substances and impulses are removed;
- activation of local metabolic processes is ensured.
Also, treatment according to Bubnovsky assumes that the patient will make some changes to his diet. That is, you need to reduce all food habits to proper nutrition. For this you need:
- eat only natural products,
- refuse canned food,
- use seasonings and spices to replace sugar and salt,
- exclude alcohol,
- remove caffeine from the diet in any of its manifestations,
- avoid the feeling of thirst, that is, take water regularly, at least 3 liters per day,
- exclude various carbonated drinks from consumption.
It is necessary to increase the amount of protein in the diet, since it is protein that plays a major role and is a building material for muscles.
Gymnastics Bubnovsky with cervical ostechondrosis
Given that gymnastics is therapeutic, it does not contain strong stresses and strains for the body. But some of the rules for its implementation are still worth considering.
Exercise preparation
- Warming up muscles. It is impossible to start performing the basic exercises without a warm-up. For the cervical spine, you need to stretch the muscles, respectively, of the neck. To do this, you can make light massage movements that are useful at any time of the day and not necessarily as a warm-up.
- You need to do the exercises slowly, because a sudden movement can provoke pain.
- It is pleasant and useful to take a contrast shower before and after classes. It perfectly warms up muscles, stimulating improved blood flow.
- Additionally, it improves well-being, the immune system and the condition of the musculoskeletal system.
- The most important thing is to consult a doctor. Each exercise must be approved by a doctor.
It must be remembered that gymnastics should not bring discomfort and pain. If an exercise is performed with pain, then you need to skip it. In this case, repeat it after a few weeks. If you feel that the pain has become less in the process of performing this exercise, then gymnastics is good for you.
It is also necessary to remember that there are contraindications even for remedial gymnastics. If most of the exercises cause pain and other discomfort, then the course is not recommended. An exacerbation of osteochondrosis also means that you need to give up classes for this period. It is impossible to engage in exercise therapy for colds, flu, and other infectious diseases.
10 neck exercises
Treatment of osteochondrosis of the cervical and other parts of the spine according to the method of Dr. Bubnovsky is called kinesitherapy. The technique is essentially a set of exercises that is selected individually for each patient.
For the treatment of cervical osteochondrosis, the following exercises are offered:
- Head nodding. perform slowly 15 to 50 times in one approach.
- Head tilts to the sides. Perform 40 times or until painful.
- Rotational movements of the head in each direction for 45 repetitions.
- Bend your head so that your chin touches your chest.
- Raising your shoulders for 10 seconds.
- Sit on the floor with your legs bent at the knees. Touch your knees with your forehead and linger for a minute.
- Head tilt to the side. You need to put a hand under your head, rest against it for 10 seconds, respectively, the hand should raise your head, and resist with your head. Repeat about 10 times.
- Sit down at the table, put your hands in the castle. Lean on the table with your elbows, rest your chin in your hands. Resist for 10 seconds.
- Lean the back of the head in folded brushes. Resist the hands for 7 seconds, then tilt your head back slightly and again.
- Circular movements with the shoulders. 10 times in each direction.
Before starting treatment, you should consult your doctor. The center established by Dr. Bubnovsky provides diagnostics and appropriate treatment. Bubnovsky was awarded a large number of awards and certificates that prove the quality of his methodology.
For self-study, you need to know exactly what kind of disease has struck the neck, as well as at what stage it is at the moment. Although the exercises are easy in themselves, it is still not recommended to perform them without the supervision of a methodologist or doctors.
